Rainbow Power: Decolonizing the Gender Binary PART 1
Feedback form is now closed.

What is the gender binary and why is it important for us all to understand it if we work with children? What do heterosexism, homophobia, and transphobia have in common with racism, and how do they harm all children? What would it look like to decolonize the gender binary? In this interactive workshop, we will have an opportunity to share ideas and collective wisdom about the things we are doing to ensure that children have safe and celebratory communities. We will engage with songs, drumming, stories, puppets, and personas to create a joyful and decolonizing approach to gender, gender identity, and sexual orientation.

**Part one will consist of a sharing circle and part two will be group activities.
